DESCRIPTION:VILLAGE OF LANCASTER \nNOTICE OF TWO (2) PUBLIC HEARINGS \nTO BE HELD ON JANUARY 22\, 2024 \nPLEASE TAKE NOTICE; That the Village of Lancaster Board of Trustees will conduct two (2) public hearings in the Council Chambers of the Lancaster Municipal Building\, 5423 Broadway\, Lancaster\, New York on Monday\, January 22\, 2024\, beginning at 7:15 P.M. to consider two (2) proposed local laws which\, if adopted\, would amend provisions of the Village Code. \nThe first public hearing beginning at 7:15 P.M. is to consider corrective amendments to Chapter 350 “Zoning” to delete stray language seemingly included as a scrivener’s error before or at the time of first codification in 1976 and to correct erroneous internal references included within Local Law #4 of the year 2023 adopted on March 27\, 2023. \nThe second public hearing\, which will immediately follow completion of the first public hearing\, is to consider an amendment to Chapter 230 “Peace and Good Order” §230-1 to accommodate the recodification of the Town of Lancaster Anti-Noise Ordinance which\, by reference\, §230-1 incorporates within the Code of the Village of Lancaster. \nThe full text of the proposed local laws may be reviewed at the Village of Lancaster website https://lancastervillageny.gov or during office hours at the office of the Village Clerk located in the Lancaster Municipal Building\, 5423 Broadway\, Lancaster\, NY. \nAt said hearing\, all persons so desiring shall have the opportunity to be heard. \nMichael E.
