A new residential composting option offered by local Farmer Pirates Compost is coming to Lancaster!
The Neighborhood Drop Off Service works like this: whenever you need to drop off your food scraps, members head to their neighborhood drop off bin, and empty into the tote. The Compost Crew takes it from there and ensures your scraps are turned to compost. It’s that simple.
Farmer Pirates Compost currently has drop off locations in Buffalo, Kenmore, East Aurora, North Tonawanda, and Pendleton. On March 26th, 2024, a drop off location will be opening in Lancaster at the Municipal building.
Pre-registration is open now! After signing up, Farmer Pirates will send your official neighborhood drop off membership welcome email. This will include information on your selected drop off bin, what to compost, tips for collecting at home, and more.
