The Village of Lancaster seeks a part-time Associate (Acting) Village Justice for the Justice Court to serve when requested by the Village Justice or in the absence or inability of the Village Justice to serve. The Associate Village Justice shall have all the duties and obligations as bestowed upon the Village Justice by the Laws of New York State, and Village of Lancaster. These duties shall include presiding over matters such as Misdemeanors, Traffic Violations, Housing Violations and Civil and Small Claims Cases. The budgeted salary for this position is $5,900 per year.
