NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO BE HELD MONDAY AUGUST 14, 2023
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE; That the Village of Lancaster Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Lancaster Municipal Building, 5423 Broadway, Lancaster, New York on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 7:15 PM to consider a local law revising Ch. 350 Article XII, “Outdoor Service of Food or Drink by an Eating or Drinking Establishment” as it relates to sidewalk cafés.
The proposed local law would repeal as outdated §350-97.2.D which provides that sidewalk cafés whereat alcoholic beverages are served shall be clearly demarcated to show the boundaries where alcohol consumption may take place. Other language within Article XII would be revised to accommodate the repeal.
The full text of the proposed local law may be reviewed at the Village of Lancaster website https://lancastervillageny.gov or during office hours at the office of the Village Clerk Lancaster Municipal Building, 5423 Broadway, Lancaster, New York.
At said hearing, all persons so desiring shall have the opportunity to be heard.
